Meet Aaron
Business Owner. Educator. Engineer
Aaron M. Goldsmith is a business owner, educator, and engineer running for Carroll County Commissioner in District 1. Raised in a working household, Aaron learned early the value of hard work, education, and helping others succeed. As the oldest of three children, he stepped up to support his family while his mother worked toward a better future through education. Those experiences shaped his lifelong belief that opportunity should be available to everyone.
Today, Aaron owns Goldsmith Education LLC, partnering with community colleges across Maryland to provide hands-on STEM programs for students. With experience in manufacturing, engineering, education, and small business, he believes leadership should be grounded in integrity, accountability, and respect for every person. Aaron is focused on protecting Carroll County’s rural communities, strengthening education, supporting local jobs, and ensuring residents have a real voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
